PM as novelist – wrap up

A friend told me she was disappointed that I didn’t give a final update on my NaNo book. So, here’s the final scoop – let’s call this post implementation benefits analysis.

I finished the first draft and that was the overall goal.  It ended up being 68,625 words. – ACHIEVED

I know what I need to do in the second revision – perhaps the love story needs more details. – EXCEEDED

I have a great story arc – if I do say so myself. – ACHIEVED

I learned more about how I write. ACHIEVED

I learned how to encourage others. – EXCEEDED

I know I’ll be sending this manuscript for publication. – ACHIEVED

I have a record of lessons learned for NaNo 2010. – ACHIEVED
